Walk Details Saturday, February 7, 2026
Grace Life Baptist Church, McCalla 10:00 am. We will walk at 10:30 am. We will go LIVE on Facebook at 11:00 after we've walked to announce top walker winners and prize basket winners. T-shirts will be for sale Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00. DOING A VIRTUAL WALK!!!!!!!!!!! You can also choose to walk on your own!!! Walk in your neighborhood, church parking lot/gym, a park anytime. For every $150 raised, you get a t-shirt. Walk as a team (5 to 10 people) and raise $1,000 and everybody gets a t-shirt. SPONSOR/DONATIONS DROP-OFF: Every one will need to bring their forms/donations the week of the walk: At the center, drive around to the back, instructions will on the back door. Drop off/register for prize baskets at these times: Monday, February 2, 9:00-6:00 Tuesday, February 3, 9:00-6:00 Wednesday, February 4, 9:00-6:00 Thursday, February 5, 9:00-5:30 *Friday, February 6, 1:00-6:00 at Grace Life Baptist Church. Must turn in sponsor forms/donations by February 6th at 6:00 to be eligible for prizes!!! HOW DOES THE WALK WORK WALKERS ASKING PEOPLE TO SPONSOR THEM FOR ANY AMOUNT, SETTING UP FUNDEASY PAGE TO SEEK DONATIONS IS HOW THE WALK FOR LIFE IS DONE. YOU CAN BE A SPONSOR OR A WALKER - BOTH ARE NEEDED!!! Get a sponsor form from your church or download (on the left)OR click on the fundeasy site to the left and set up you walkpage that can be sent over social media and your friends and families can donate online through your page. You can walk as an individual or a team (family, your office, group from church can walk as a team (download team instructions below). You ask friends and family to sponsor you for any amount. For a minimum $20 donation, we can bill them after the walk. Most collect the money upfront and the fundeasy page allows them to pay online. Most do both, fundeasy and offline donations, and the fundeasy allows you to add offline donations to your page. Sav-A-Life Bessemer, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that is completing funded through donations. Most of our operating budget (70%)is raised at this event!!!!
