WALK FOR LIFE
February 4th 10:00 a.m.
(Registration begins at 9:00 and early registration is Friday, from 3:30-6:30)

We always work hard to have a successful walk because most of our budget is raised at this event. This year’s walk is important for the same reason plus we will have the added expenses of a second center and converting to a medical mode so we can perform limited ultrasounds.

Sign up to get your church involved then we will contact you to get promotional materials to you.
Walker:
You can set up web page with personal message, pictures, etc. Go to sponsors and check out what others have done.

If you are not able to walk then please sponsor someone. You can sponsor has many people as you want and pay online, right on the secured site.

WANTED & NEEDED: NURSE MANAGER
Must have nursing experience and current license. Will oversee our medical ministry which will be doing limited ultrasounds. A former nurse manager from another center has offered to help with training.

PARENTING CLASSES
In November we had 6 girls that attended Preparing for Your Baby classes, 2 girls attended Moms Again, and 4 dads attended Dads of Deck.
We had 32 in attendance for the baby shower. We appreciate Bro. Jason Dollar from Rock Mountain Lakes Baptist Church for speaking to our guests. Special thanks to First Baptist Pleasant Grove that provided baby gifts for the dads. Raimund Heights Baptist provided delicious food and beautiful decorations. Everyone did a great job!

Abortion Recovery Ministry
As mentioned above there are so many women living with the secret of a past abortion. Through the Abortion Recovery Ministry it is our desire that women will not just know that God forgives sin, but help them to accept His forgiveness. It is then that healing can begin.
Tena Thrasher has faithfully served as our Abortion Recovery Ministry director for several years. Please pray for Tena – Tena is a full time nurse that works long hours and has children and grandchildren and a father who has been sick that she is caring for. In spite of her busy schedule, she still has a passion to help women who have experienced abortion. We have her testimony on DVD. It was made when she spoke at our annual banquet a few years ago. If you would like a copy we will be glad to send you one. If you are interested in learning more about the Abortion Recovery Ministry or want to talk to Tena.
